Lily Smith

Lily joined St James Solicitors as a Solicitor in February 2025. She has worked within the legal profession since 2020 and qualified as a Solicitor in January 2024, moving from civil into criminal defence work the following year.

 

Since joining the firm, Lily has gained experience handling a varied caseload, ranging from motoring offences to serious matters such as blackmail and sexual offences. She represents clients across courts in Devon and Somerset, and is known for her client-focused approach, providing clear, practical advice tailored to each individual's circumstances.

 

Lily currently represents clients at the police station and in both the Magistrates and Crown Court. She also assists in the preparation of serious and high-profile cases. Dedicated to further developing her expertise, Lily has gained her accreditation as a police station representative, and achieved duty solicitor status.

 

Approachable and committed, Lily is always happy to help and ensures that every client receives informed and professional advice at every stage of their case - with their best interests always paramount.
